I, Embarrassingly, Didn't Know There Were Other Options Than Kindle
Friday Inspiration #44
Thank you, Lord, for this day. May it be used for your glory!
Good morning everyone and welcome back to another Friday Inspiration!
This week is short and sweet.
I have been doing a lot of research for Spatium Stories recently, both for the platform and the blog.
As such, I have a couple of interesting articles about books!
Let’s jump in!
First Look at the Kobo Clara 2e e-reader

Ok, so I had never heard of Kobo until now. And I’m not sure if that’s embarrassing or not.
Apparently, they are a huge ebook brand headquartered in Canada.
Many people still say Amazon has more ebooks, but that a lot prefer Kobo’s e-reader.
Well, Kobo just released a brand new e-reader device that definitely sounds pretty cool.
I’m probably not switching from my Kindle anytime soon, but it definitely helps to know there are other e-reader brands that are doing really well.
Why?
Because, I would love for Spatium Stories to one day have their own e-reader device for people to read NFT Books on. Definitely a futuristic dream, but I think it would be cool!
Book Royalties 101: How They Work
So a big focus of Spatium Stories is on the author. We care deeply for the readers for sure, but first and foremost, we want to honor the authors.
Without authors, the readers would have nothing to read.
I’ve been doing a lot of research on how traditional publishing works with royalties and whatnot.
And it’s pretty bad.
I had no idea. Take a look for yourself and see what I mean.
There is another Spatium Stories blog coming out soon that breaks this down deeper and shows how NFTs can solve the problem.
I’ll let y’all know when it’s out!
Like I said, short and sweet today! Hope you still enjoyed! Have a great weekend!
