Hello and welcome to another Inspiration Friday! Today we are going to dive into a plethora of things I thought were interesting this past week. Instead of me blabbing about them, I’m just going to jump right in!
Bitcoin and Ethereum Are Dead
I figured after reading so many articles about the positives of Bitcoin and other crypto assets by the true believers, I should read one about someone who hates the idea of Bitcoin. There are a few of his claims that simply are not backed by true facts like the regulations, energy issues, and a couple others. However, he still brings up some valid concerns too.
I do think he’s right in that Bitcoin is all speculation. We can’t be 100% sure that Bitcoin will be the new global reserve currency and save the world like a lot of supporters think. However, we really can’t be 100% sure about anything like this when it comes to finances. Only God knows what’s going to happen. We must keep our eyes on him and try our best to use the resources He’s given us in a wise way.
I Earned $6,000 From One Article.

This article was actually a little click baity, but still pretty interesting. Ironically it is written by the same author as the previous article.
His article has a lot of good writing advice that I actually already do. However, it also had a few good points on things I can work on. Like editing. I honestly don’t edit too much. Thankfully, I have a beautiful wife (who is always honest) to proofread my work.
The other cool thing about this article is that it shows writing on Medium can truly be profitable. His main point is to write consistently. I truly believe in that philosophy, which is why I’ve started writing all these posts on a weekly basis. Perhaps one day I can make a side income with writing, but the main point in writing consistently is so I can become a better and more proficient writer.
How To Survive Your First Book Blog Tour
https://writingcooperative.com/how-to-survive-your-first-book-blog-tour-c5eac137e174
This article breaks down not only how to survive a book blog tour, but also what it is and how you can do one too. To sum it up, basically there are a lot of successful blogs out there where people write book reviews. A blog tour is where you take the book you’ve written and try to get these big blogs to write a post about it.
I’d never heard of such a thing and I’ll definitely plan to do one when I get ready to publish my book!
9 months in a tiny home
https://medium.com/insider/what-it-was-like-living-in-a-tiny-home-for-9-months-55e673042e3a
Last but not least was an article about a guy who spent 9 months living in a tiny house on top of a mountain in Colorado. He got to spend all day snowboarding while living there. If you notice in his picture he’s got a hot tub too! Not a bad gig if you ask me.
This was found while doing some research on tiny home living. Taylor and I have been praying a lot about our future home, where to move, and when to buy a house. We’ve started looking into these tiny home things and actually found a lot we really like. We’ve been particularly fond of this company called Custom Container Living. They construct all their homes with shipping containers!
Well, that’s it for this week! Thanks for reading and keeping up with everything going on in our lives. I have some really exciting news coming soon regarding some fictional short stories so keep your eyes peeled.
Also, if you think anyone else would be interested at all in reading this blog, definitely feel free to share it along.
Have a great weekend!
