Welcome to another edition of Friday Inspiration! It’s the end of the week and that means it’s time to recap what all I’ve been learning, reading, or found cool this week! Once again, I have a few crypto-related articles and services that are doing some cool things, but I also have one new service that’s not related to crypto that is super cool!
I’d like to introduce a new service Amazon released this month! It’s called Kindle Vella. This is an expansion off of their ever-popular Kindle book service. There is one slight catch, however. Instead of purchasing an entire book, books are released chapter by chapter in what they call “episodes”. Just like a TV show or comic book!
I actually had this idea and tried it out on Medium myself. It’s ok, Amazon, you can steal my idea lol.
The way they do it is pretty neat though. The first 3 episodes of any book series are free and then after that, you have to purchase these universal tokens you can use to buy any episode you want. It’s actually a really neat idea!
It also helps writers too as it’s just another way to write and get content out. Instead of releasing a full-fledged novel, we can write and release one chapter at a time. I’ll let y’all know if I end up trying it out ;)
Check it out here: Kindle Vella
Alright, now we can jump into the more techy crypto stuff.
Today, I wanted to share two articles by one of the most popular authors on Medium. The first one is a really well-written reason as to why all of this crypto stuff is important. He goes into what ethereum is and why it’s revolutionary, and why this whole decentralized internet is a big deal. Read about it at the link below.
One thing I think is really cool in this article is that a decentralized internet means complete freedom. If there is no company or human running the internet, then no one can control, censor, or regulate anything. There’s a lot of issues right now with the big tech companies and their data mining, censorship, etc. No matter what side you fall on, a decentralized internet will be huge.
If you are interested or know someone that’s interested in being a part of the decentralized internet, then you should check out Unstoppable Domains! They are selling blockchain domain names that can be used on the decentralized web. It’s really really cool stuff! On top of that, if you trade crypto at all, you know how annoying it is to share a super duper long address to your wallet. With a blockchain domain, you can just share your unique domain instead of a random address that’s impossible to memorize.

The next article I read was a good one about the current climate of crypto trading. Currently, a lot of prices have been dropping and some people are saying it’s time to quit. However, in this article, he really paints a good picture of what is actually going on in the markets as well as a better ideology for why to invest in crypto in the first place.
I really loved his point about investing in something for the value of the product, not just trying to make a quick buck. Crypto is still relatively new right now and so most investing is speculative anyway. We should be investing in the technology we believe will actually make a difference. I thought that was a smart ideology and makes it less stressful to think about investing in something like crypto.
Again, if you or someone you know is at all interested in investing in crypto, we’ve really enjoyed crypto.com. They have a debit card you can preload and get some pretty killer cashback rewards! The company’s goal is to be a one-stop shop for everything crypto. They have wallets, trading, debit cards, and so much more.
Plus if you use my promo link and sign up we both get $25!

Well, that’s pretty much everything I’ve been reading or things we’ve been looking into this week. I personally think this is a pretty exciting time with all the crypto stuff, but maybe I’m just a nerd. I don’t know :)
David, I think you're on to something! I like learning about the new ideas, that I don't understand, yet!
