At long last, Fall is here
You know what that means
If not, a poem or two should make it clear
The sun is gone, oh yay!
Not gone, but not as hot
No more 90 degree days!
Green is great and all
But too much is too much
That’s the beauty of Fall
It saves us from death
Perhaps that’s extreme
So refreshing with each crisp breath
The colors around, filling hearts with joy
As leaves change to fill the sky
Red, yellow, orange, of all shades deployed
How lovely it is to see the canopy
Of leaves below or above, no matter
Makes you feel like life is a fantasy
The only death we love to see
Beauty, joy, and a change of season
Thank you leaves, we’ll leave you be
