Trying new things is a daunting task
You don’t know what’s coming your way
To march in the unknown is a mighty ask
The key component is trust, you see
For without it, they’ll never leave
Without it, they’ll never be free
But step after step, unsure of each move
They walk into the snow
Testing if snow’s trust and safety proves
Soon enough, they run around, tail a wagging
Shouting (or barking) with glee
Who once was scared is now pure and happy
Spinning and eating the snow and all
The fear has vanished for good
Until you hit them with a snowball
